Parish Bulletin Article: "Advent Mission: Reform your Life and Repent!": 12-4-16

I am excited for our Advent Mission, which is on the way!
We will begin on Tuesday (December 6th) evening with a new speaker for us—Aly Schissel.  She is a wonderful gal who has both musical and speaking skills.  She works in Duluth with Fr. Mike Schmitz and even performs with her own band for praise and worship music.
She will give her talk at 7:00pm.  After her presentation we will have time for Eucharistic Adoration, confessions (with four diocese priests) and prayer.  It should be a powerful event as we spend time with Jesus Christ.
Wednesday evening (December 7th) will begin at 7:00pm with a vigil Mass for the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.  We will continue our mission with pizza, free Dynamic Catholic books, “small missions” to sign up for volunteering at our church and conclude the evening with a second cool presentation from Nic Davidson.
Our third day (December 8th) will simply offer the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception.  The morning Mass will be at 8:30am at St. Thomas Aquinas for our parishioners and school students.  The last Mass will be in the evening at St. Columban at 5:00pm.
As we walk together through four weeks of Advent, please enjoy our mission for learning, praying, confessing, reading, signing and eating!

            God Bless!
