Some basics to conclude our liturgical year: 34th Sunday in Ordinary Time: Jesus Christ, King of the Universe

Listen to the homily here.

Notes:

Jesus Christ, our King: began in 1925 from Pope Pius IX
·      Peace: Jesus
·      vs. secularism, atheism, communism and socialism
·      God or Man?
·      Where is Jesus Christ in your priority?
·      Jesus must be #1!
Here is a basic consideration for some quick but deep questions:
·      Does God exist?  Yes or no?
·      Is Jesus both God and Man?
·      Did Jesus die and rise?
There is a reason why we are calling Jesus Christ our King on the last weekend during our liturgical year.
·      Many people think that Jesus was a teacher, a prophet, a guru, a philosopher
·      But do you really believe that Jesus is our King?
·      Truly or false?
Our King offers love, mercy and forgiveness, but also our judge
·      Another deep question: Matthew 25
·      Then the king will say to those on his right,
'Come, you who are blessed by my Father.
Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.  For I was hungry and you gave me food,
I was thirsty and you gave me drink,
a stranger and you welcomed me,
naked and you clothed me,
ill and you cared for me,
in prison and you visited me.'”
·      'Amen, I say to you, whatever you did
for one of the least brothers of mine, you did for me.'
Is Jesus Christ really your King?
