Only
seven days until Christmas Eve!
We had some fun events last
weekend. We had a tasty brunch at
St. Columban with a craft and baked sale after their Mass. Then, after Mass at St. Thomas Aquinas
we had a delicious lunch with spaghetti and our St. Thomas Aquinas School
students sang a few songs to prepare themselves for their concert later that
week.
Please continue to discern and pray
for stewardship—time, talent and treasure—as Advent is a perfect time to get
ready for Christmas.
I mentioned last weekend as a way
to support St. Thomas Aquinas. To
our parishioners there, I asked if we could together shovel the sidewalks
around our parish and school. If
we can have 10-15 parishioners, we could save money through your time instead
of paying with a contract to someone else. We can take another step forward together with our family.
For all parishioners, please come
on Tuesday evening for worship, prayer, and confession at St. Thomas
Aquinas. We will have a wonderful
time towards the last days to prepare your heart for Christmas.
Finally, I am proud of all of
you. I am pleased that all of us
are continuing to grow with conversations, relationships, and community
events. Let’s keep building our
whole family as this shows depth to walk together with both Advent and our
friendship with Jesus Christ.
