My last test for my stroke...

"A faithful friend is an elixir of life…” (Sirach 6:14).

Thank you, so much, for the so many prayers you have given to me.

Last Wednesday I had the last test for my brain after my stroke—an angiogram.  I was able to lie down in one of the new room at St. Luke’s and I was able to watch dye flow through my vessels!  (I also told the doctors and nurses to go to confessions as they had a priest!)

A big doctor—one of the brain surgery doctors—called me on Friday morning last week after he saw all the pictures.  He told me that they did not see anything from my stroke.  It was the last test after several MRIs, CTs, ultrasounds, etc.  And the tests are done.  This doctor said that my stroke was abnormal.  There are no more tests and he said that my life continues.

I continue to nap every day, learn, read, write, pray and I also added a speech therapist in International Falls.

God is unreal!

As I prayed through our breviary I loved our prayer:

“All-powerful God, help us to proclaim the power of the Lord’s resurrection.  May we who accept this sign of the love of Christ come to share the eternal life he reveals, for he lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.”

AMEN.  Thank you for your prayers, friendship, brothers and sisters.

God Bless,
