Note--I offered Mass in the meditation center in the Schipol airport in Amsterdam, Netherlands. I was inspired to come to the same Mass we have at home and in festive celebration in the parishes we visited in Ghana. It was also interesting to have Mass at the same time and the same room that many Muslims were praying.
Throughout our time in Ghana, we have seen the reality of
God’s love. He has showered us
with many graces in the people we met, the hospitality we received and in the
work we did.
We
have seen, too, how God continues to take a few loaves and fish and multiply
them. A few dollars and a little
time, and look what God has done in our lives and in the lives of our brothers
and sisters in Africa!
May
we continue to live in God’s love as we return home, and offer Him what little
we have. God, in His faithfulness,
will continue to multiply these sacrifices and build up His kingdom on earth.
