Tuesday of the Octave of Easter

            As a youth minister, seminarian and now priest, one of my focuses each day is reflecting on effective ways to preach the Gospel.  In fact, every business, college or market is looking at new techniques to sell their product.

            While we Christians must always find new ways to relay the Gospel to the current society, we must remember that the Gospel itself doesn’t change.  The core of our faith—that Jesus died and rose again—must remain the consistent message we live out and preach.

            Peter simply preached Jesus and 3,000 were converted to Christ.

            Many more souls need to meet Jesus and these are the same people in your families, jobs and circle of friends.  How are you living your life by preaching Christ by your words and actions?
